Terms of Use

Effective Date: February 18, 2026 | Last Updated: February 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using The Breaker mobile application (the "App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Educational Purpose

The Breaker is strictly an educational tool. The App is designed to help users understand password security concepts by simulating how security researchers analyze password strength using dictionary attacks, hybrid mutations, and brute force methods.

The App demonstrates theoretical attack scenarios for educational purposes only. It is not designed for, and must not be used for, actual security testing of live systems or unauthorized access attempts.

3. License to Use

ForgeKey grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App strictly in accordance with these Terms.

  • The App is licensed, not sold, to you
  • This license is for personal, non-commercial use only
  • You may not modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works
  • You may not redistribute or resell the App

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use The Breaker responsibly and ethically:

  • No Malicious Use: Do not use insights gained from this App to attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, or network
  • Educational Context Only: Use the App to learn about password security principles, not to facilitate actual attacks

5. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems using knowledge from the App
  • Use the App to test the security of systems you do not own or have explicit permission to test
  • Misrepresent the App's capabilities or results as actual security assessments
  • Use the App in conjunction with actual hacking tools or malicious software

6. No Security Guarantees

The Breaker provides educational estimates only:

  • Results are theoretical simulations, not actual security assessments
  • Crack time estimates assume offline attack scenarios with standard hardware
  • Real-world security depends on many factors beyond password strength (two-factor authentication, rate limiting, intrusion detection, encryption methods, and system-specific defenses)
  • The App does not and cannot guarantee the actual security of any password

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy or reliability of analysis results
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Security assessments or professional advice

ForgeKey makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy of the educational content or simulation results.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • ForgeKey and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • This includes damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
  • This includes any security breaches or unauthorized access that may occur to your accounts or systems
  • ForgeKey is not responsible for decisions you make based on App results

Your use of the App is at your own risk. ForgeKey provides educational information only and assumes no responsibility for how you apply that information.

9. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your actual accounts and passwords
  • Understanding that this is an educational simulation, not a security audit
  • Implementing proper security practices including strong passwords, two-factor authentication, and regular security updates
  • Consulting qualified security professionals for actual security assessments

10. Age Restrictions

The Breaker is rated 16+ and suitable for 16+ ages.

11. Intellectual Property

All content in The Breaker, including but not limited to text, graphics, user interface, visual interface, code, and software, is owned by ForgeKey and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

12. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to the App Store for ForgeKey or other related services. ForgeKey is not responsible for the content or practices of any linked third-party services.

13. Updates and Modifications

ForgeKey reserves the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice
  • Update these Terms of Use at any time
  • Release updates or new versions of the App

Material changes to these Terms will be communicated through the App Store update notes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

ForgeKey may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ForgeKey operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ForgeKey regarding the use of The Breaker and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
